Modify Existing Task Collections and Assignments

There will be times when changes need to be made to the existing task collections or assignments

Modify Task Collections

To modify an existing task collection:
  1. In the "Manage" page of the Administration Panel, click the Manage Task Collections window.
  2. Select an existing role in the "Systems and Tasks" pane.
  3. Select the directory type container and modify the task rights as required.
  4. Click the Save button to save changes.
  5. In the "Manage" page click the Apply New Settings button to enforce the changes to the task collection(s).

Modify Task Collection Assignments

To modify an existing assignment:
  1. In the "Groups" pane of the "Manage" page in the Administration Panel, double-click the group object that needs a modification.
  2. You can change any of the following:
    • if the Task Collection is incorrect, use the drop-down button to select the correct one.
    • add or remove search contexts as required. If a search context is not correct, remove it and add a replacement.
  3. Click the Save button to preserve the changes.
  4. In the "Manage" page click the Apply New Settings button to enforce the changes to the task collection(s).
